For more than 70 years we have been distributing consumables for hospitals, laboratory supplies and microbiology accessories – worldwide wholesale and export,
as well as own productions make our business exciting and diverse.
We are a family business – traditionally with courage and trend for constant development and flexibility on the market – with headquarters in Hamburg.
Due to the sustained successful growth, it is necessary to further expand the purchasing department.
Therefore we are looking for a commercial employee for our purchasing department with immediate effect.
Your tasks
- Participation in the further development and process optimization in the purchasing area
- Conducting price and contract negotiations
Selection, evaluation and support of existing and future suppliers and manufacturers (domestic and foreign) - Qualitative incoming goods inspection & cooperation with the QM department
- Disposition and extensive order processing
- Coordination and monitoring of delivery dates
- Market analyses (co-design of pricing policy)
- Settlement of claims with insurance companies & experts
Your profile
- You have at least 2-3 years of relevant professional experience in a comparable position
- Successfully completed commercial vocational training, preferably with relevant additional qualifications
- Very good written and spoken English
Business management thinking and a structured, independent way of working - Negotiating skills
- You are organized and have a sound knowledge of the common MS Office applications
- Customs knowledge in the area of import of goods is an advantage
